Frequently Asked Questions - Vietnam Visas

How does Visa on Arrival Work?

Once we receive your order and payment, we obtain a letter of authorisation from Vietnam Immigration for your application. We'll then send you this letter via email. You will need to print it off and present it at the visa on arrivals desk at immigration in your Vietnamese arrival airport. You'll also need to provide a passport sized photo and a fee for immigration of $25USD in cash for each visa (or $50 if you've ordered a multi-entry visa for one or three months). You then have to complete a simple form, and your visa will be issued. Normally the whole process takes only 20-40 minutes, although at busy times it can be longer than that.

Is it safe?

Absolutely! We have arranged hundreds of visas for our customers over the last three years, without a single hitch. All airlines are happy to accept the letter as proof of visa when you check in, and none of our customers have experienced a problem at Vietnam Immigration.

Can you get a visa for any nationality?

Not all Nationalities can receive a visa on arrival - but most can. All European passport holders can use this service, as can all Australia/NZ passport holders, as well as citizens of the US. If you're not sure whether your nationality is included, just drop us a line and we'll check and let you know.

How quickly can you arrange a visa?

Normally we need 5 days to obtain a visa authorisation and send it to you, but we can process the visa more quickly if needs be. There may be an additional charge for express processing, so please contact us first if you need a visa in a hurry - we'll come straight back to you.

Can I get someone to help me at the airport?

Yes. If you prefer, we can arrange somebody to meet your flight with your name on a card, and look after the whole form-filling process. There is a fee for this, please contact us for details.

What if I forget to bring a photo?

This isn't a problem - the Visa on arrivals desk do have the facility to take your photo, but they will charge you for it, and it will slow the whole process down. Best to do this before you leave!
